What's happenin' Hot Stuff??

It's been way too long since my last blog post so I thought while I am at work with NOTHING to do, I would take some time to catch you all up on my crazy life.

1. School is going really well for me. I've completed three classes and am glad to say that my average grade is an A-. Right now I just started a Statistics class and am a bit scared about how I will do. I really really hate math and I have a lot of assignments due for it. Good thing it only lasts five weeks or else I would be in some big trouble.

2. As you know, Isaac is now three years old! It's crazy to think that Danae and I have a three year old who can ask for thing, tell us when he doesn't feel good, sing, dance and basically do whatever he wants...except use the pottie! We've tried so many things: bribing him with treats and toys, getting two different potties for him to sit on, and just trying to sit him on the pottie and see if he will use it. He must get his stubbornness from his mother :)

3. Danae and I have gone on a few vacations recently that have been much needed. We have been planning on going to Disneyland for Isaacs' birthday since March and have been so excited to go, especially since it was October and they would have all of it decorated for Halloween! It was totally awesome! One of my favorite rides was closed the ENTIRE time: Indiana Jones! Can you believe it! All of us were so dissapointed, but we didn't let it get us down. We all liked going on Pirates of the Caribbean cause it was a long, slow and ejoyable ride...unless you were Isaac. He didn't like Pirates too much until the last time we went on it. He would always bury his head in Danae's shoulder and keep his eyes closed the whole time. On the last day at Disneyland we had a breakfast with Minnie and Friends. It was so much fun and watching Isaac with all the characters was the best part. At one part music came on and Eeyore was close to us and Isaac jumped out of his seat and started dancing with Eeyore! It was so cute! Then other kids followed suit and joined in.
So that's my life right now in a nut shell. I've been super busy with school and teaching x-ray classes at the DATC that I haven't had a whole lot of time for much else. I will say that I am so happy to have my family though. They are the world to me and I wouldn't trade them for ANYTHING. Love you both Danae and Isaac!

Another fun riddle

Can you name three consecutive days without using the words

Wednesday, Friday, or Sunday?

Which Room Answer

You all had it right...except for Kjersti with the fire room. The answer is that the room full of lions, after not eating for three years, would all be dead. Good job on that. Keep checking back for more riddles.

Thanks for playing!

Which Room??

A murderer is condemned to death. He has to choose between three rooms.

The first is full of raging fires.

The second is full of assassins with loaded guns.

The third is full of lions that haven't eaten in 3 years.

Which room is safest for him?

Chocolate Age Riddle

So here is a fun math riddle that somebody gave to me the other day. Please follow the instructions EXACTLY or it will not work.

1. How many times a week do you want chocolate? Between 1 and 9.

2. Now times that number by 2.

3. Now add 5 to that number.

4. Multiply that number by 50.

5. If you have already had your b-day this year add 1759, if not add 1758.

6. Subtract the four digit year you were born.

7. You should now have a 3 digit number.

8. The first number is your original Chocolate number, and the last two numbers are your age.

FYI, this is the only year that this riddle will work.

New events in my crazy life

So life as we know it has gotten a little bit easier for me. As of May 18th I am officially a Registered Technologist. I studied, and studied, and studied some more in order to pass. I took almost 30 online mock tests and thought I was doing pretty well. I was pretty nervous about taking my boards. I'm not a very good test taker. My skills come in to play when you put me in a situation where I have to show my skills. Not try and regurgitate them out of my ginormous brain. It's hard to pull things out of there when they're all the way in the back. So I got to the testing center at about 7:45 and had 4 hours to take a 220 question test. The online tests that I was taking were complicated and seemed to try and trick you. They were not straight forward questions so I got confused quite a bit when I thought the answer I put was right and thought that the mock tests I was taking were wrong. I actually ended up looking in my books for the correct answers (which ended up letting me know that I was wrong in the first place.) So I took my test in just under 2 hours which was good for me because I would usually take about 1 1/2 hours. So it was good that I rook my time a little bit and ended up getting a better grade. I passed with an 86%, which for me is pretty dang good. So it feels good to finally be done.

So for my graduation present to myself I bought myself a new camera. I've wanted a new camera for a long time but I never had the cash flow to afford it. Now that school is done I'm glad to say I will be posting more pictures of totally random stuff. So here are a few of the pics I've taken so far.

I still can't figure out why he likes to wear his moms shoes. Let's just hope it's a phase.

Thanks to all to helped me get here.

Graduation. FINALLY!

So, it's about time that I graduate from my Radiology program. Because so few of us are actually going to walk at graduation we are going to have a graduation party that the family and friends can come to and show their support for the people in the program.

So here are the directions for you if you would like to come. It is on 90th south and Bangerter Hwy. The "party" is Wednesday, May 6th, and starts at 6:30 on the lower level of the Health Sciences building (farthest building south next to the institute building.) The program should only last about 45 minutes but will be fun and entertaining.

All those who have supported me over the past 2 years of this process are welcome to come.
